Monitoring of airborne spores of fungal diseases in vineyards
Description
BaaS has developed passive spores traps that precisely identify the dynamics of infectious pressure from numerous cryptogamic disease agents in vineyards, such as downy mildew, powdery mildew, and botrytis. The spore traps are collected twice a week and analyzed within 12 hours for near real-time monitoring of pressures. The analyses are performed using QPCR, enabling the detection of spores at very low levels and ensuring the identification of contaminations from the start of the season.
