Jean-Philippe Ricard and Matthieu Planté have over 15 years' experience in providing innovative solutions for the wine industry, including 10 years in the capture and recovery of fermentative CO2.
The two have launched the CO2 Winery offer to implement a system that meets several objectives. The first is to improve the quality and comfort at work for employees in wineries, and to increase safety in the workplace, as recommended by the MSA, by capturing the CO2 naturally emitted in tanks when grapes are transformed into alcohol. The second is to reduce the carbon footprint of winegrowers by avoiding the purchase of fossil CO2 transported by road over hundreds of kilometers. To achieve this, CO2 Winery offers the CO2 Box, an equipment that enables winegrowers to reuse their own CO2 by setting up a system to treat and recycle this fermentative CO2. Another solution, CO2 Water, is designed to introduce new practices in the winery by introducing CO2 into the water supply network, thereby reducing water consumption in the winery by 15-50%.
