Description
Naio Technologies, which has been designing agricultural robots since 2011, supplies autonomous machines to winegrowers. Its aim is to reduce the drudgery of work and limit the use of pesticides. TED, the autonomous electric straddle tractor, will mechanically weed the rows using a combination of tools and electric inter-weeders. JO, the crawler designed for narrow vineyards, can work for up to 10 hours, weeding the inter-row and the row simultaneously.
The Augmented Autonomy function, awarded by a Trophée d'Or Vinitech Sifel, allows work to be carried out without the need for supervision in the vineyard.
