In 1942, in the heart of the mountains of the Spanish Basque Country, GRUPO GÁMIZ was born. A company with two key points: a sawing unit and a second processing unit.
In the first sawmill, where we work with wood supplied by local sources, we work with hardwood species such as oak, beech, ash and American red oak. At the same time, we work with radiata pine, a coniferous species found in our forests.
In our second unit, we add value to this raw material by manufacturing our product ranges:
Glued-laminated structural beams (CE structural certification for our oak and radiata pine beams for curtain wall applications)
Finger-jointed (AKA and KKK) and finger-jointed (DKK, DKD and DDD) joinery beams with CTB/LCA certification
Frame panels in pine and beech
Finger-jointed solid panels, full plank and 3-ply.
