Description
Isuzu is one of the most prestigious industrial realities in Japan and is the oldest in diesel vehicle construction with a consolidated presence in all global markets today.
Although ISUZU has so far identified itself with the production of vehicles and diesel engines, it cannot ignore sustainability as the common goal of the last decade.
Over the next few years, ISUZU will be organizing a high-level project represented by the iconic slogan "Moving the world - for you". The latter expresses the will to continue to maintain the position of leader in the transport sector but with greater attention to the environment and people, cultivating projects increasingly attentive to the issues we have just mentioned.
The entire Isuzu group is working on the completion of its «Environmental Vision 2050».
The entire Isuzu group is working to finalise its “Environmental Vision 2050” which takes into consideration 5 key points to be achieved by 2050:
• Zero greenhouse gas emissions over the entire life cycle of each product;
• Zero greenhouse gas emissions directly from Isuzu operations;
• 100% recycling of waste and end-of-life vehicles generated by Isuzu operations by 2050;
• Creating totally safe and reliable products;
• Protection of biodiversity in the areas surrounding production poles, also in collaboration with NGOs and other environmental organizations.
