Description
VERT PROTECT distributes the FOG DRAGON mobile biomass boiler for frost control in France and Belgium. The principle of protection is to produce and diffuse heat and smoke from wood, straw and hay. Temperature rises are between +2°C and +3°C over areas of 5 to 10 Ha. A misting is added to the boiler in order to increase the efficiency of the calories produced, and to increase the greenhouse effect. The boiler is mobile and animated behind a tractor. There is no specific maintenance and is very easy to implement. It is very energy-efficient since it consumes only 30 to 40 kg of hay per hour with a little extra wood. It is a protection without hydrocarbons (apart from the tractor's RNG 7l/hour), without water or electricity.
