Description
Toopi Organics collects and recycles human urine for agriculture. Urine is collected with the help of partner companies during events, music festivals, and in dry toilets in establishments open to the public (resting areas, touristic sites, amusement centres, high schools…). We process urine by filtrating and fermenting it to sanitize it. This allow us to use it as a growth media for bacteria with a high agricultural potential. Toopi Organics launched the commercialisation of urine-based biostimulants in France and in Belgium, and is currently developing new microbial products targeting phosphorus, nitrogen and hydric stress in order to provide farmers with alternatives for conventional chemical fertilisers.
