With 750 exhibitors and more than 70 conferences, Vinitech-Sifel, the global tradeshow for the wine, arboriculture, fruit and vegetable sectors, closed its doors after 3 intense days of discoveries, new solutions, exchanges and reflections.
Organized in a complex economic context for the agricultural sector, this major biennial meeting was able to mobilize key players and unite professionals around essential sector issues and promising innovations for the future.

Chairmanship
Chairman of the Comité National des Interprofessions des Vins (CNIV), Vice-Chairman of the Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux (CIVB) and now Chairman of Vinitech-Sifel, Bernard Farges is also a Bordeaux winegrower with a passion for his trade and a strong commitment to his industry.
« I'm very honoured by the trust you've placed in me and delighted to be taking on this new role as Chairman of the Vinitech-Sifel international trade show, an event whose importance for our industry, which is undergoing major restructuring, I fully appreciate. It's a key event for our industry, which is in the midst of a major overhaul. The sheer scale of the event and its international resonance mean that it brings together and connects the professions, provides a framework for sharing knowledge and opens up new horizons. The forthcoming gathering will be very important, because after months of crisis, questioning and effort, we need to work on tomorrow's solutions...
