Nov 28, 2024 — 11:00 am - 12:00 PMHALL 1 - Wine & Spirit Profiling
Description
Biostimulants are an innovative approach to improving grape quality and vine resilience facing of climate change.
The aim of our trials is to highlight the impact of biostimulants in compensating the effects of climate change by enabling an earlier harvest while ensuring good phenolic and aromatic ripeness with a balanced alcohol content and pH.
This allows for early intervention at the vineyard level to reduce enological inputs and meet societal demand for fresh, fruity, round and indulgent wines.
The technical presentation will be followed by a comparative tasting of the trials conducted to evaluate their effect on the aromatic profiles of Cabernet Sauvignon wines.
