How do you manage a vineyard?

HALL 1 - FORUM 2

Description

Faced with recurring difficulties in production conditions and markets, the management of winegrowing businesses is becoming increasingly demanding. Managers need to use steering tools (economic, commercial and financial performance) to assess results. Environmental and social initiatives (EMS, Cultivating Tomorrow, CSR, etc.) have focused on new areas. But having a global vision of sustainability performance is an asset, as it combines environmental, social and economic dimensions in a single tool. A summary presentation of these main wine company management tools, which form the architecture of a Bordeaux Sciences Agro diploma course, based on real-life examples, aims to suggest avenues for reflection and action for trainers, advisors and company managers. Testimony of Wilfrid GROIZARD- Managing Director Château Latour-Martillac.
