Description
SmartWood was born after more than 6 years of trials aimed at optimizing the use of OVOÏD® tanks with wood alternatives. These trials revealed a number of difficulties, in particular the management of staves falling to the bottom of the tanks, which disrupted the stirring of the lees. The SmartWood solution solves these problems with a kit that includes a stainless steel support for 48 staves and reusable food ties. This system hooks under the lid of the OVOÏD® and can be easily handled using a winch or a gallows in the cellar.
