Oenockeck Color
Description
The Oenocheck Color® is a pocket-sized spectrocolorimeter for transmittance measurement of wine colour as specified in the OIV CIElab standard.
Colour is a key parameter of wine quality, directly perceptible to the taster or consumer. The OIV recommends using the OIV-MA-AS2-11 method, which enables colour to be accurately characterised.
Thanks to this tool, numerous applications previously reserved for laboratories can be carried out in the cellar, such as controlling the colour of rosés during the pre- or post-fermentation phases, carrying out fining tests, and testing the colour of blends in order to achieve the colour that consumers expect.
