Helios Orchard
Description
After successfully deploying its innovative technology in vineyards, strawberry fields, and sports turf, UV Boosting is introducing its new range dedicated to orchards: Helios Orchard. Developed to address the specific challenges faced by fruit growers, this solution reduces the impact of apple scab and protects orchards against climate hazards, such as frost and water stress.
For nearly five years, UV Boosting has conducted trials on fruit trees, yielding positive results validated by two experimental centers:
• Invénio Limousin (2023): an average 50% reduction in scab frequency on fruit, with a 10% yield increase.
• La Morinière (2024): up to 40% reduction in scab frequency and 10% more healthy fruit, even under high pressure conditions.
Launched in January 2024, the Helios Orchard range has already attracted several producers in France and abroad. Among them, Bocapom in Deux-Sèvres (79) and a producer in Hungary (include the name if the partner authorizes it) have incorporated this technology into their orchard protection programs. Helios Orchard is part of a strategy to preserve yields while reducing Treatment Frequency Indicators (TFI), offering an environmentally friendly solution.
