Johanna DAYER

Étudiante à la 3ème étape du Master of Wine, enseignante et directrice du Clos de Tsampéhro et d’Hedonistica.

Description

Johanna, a lifelong wine enthusiast, discovered her vocation during summers in Tuscany, where her godfather produced remarkable wines. Inspired by her parents' culinary curiosity, she enriched her knowledge with a Bachelor's degree from the École Hôtelière de Lausanne. After graduating, she made her first wines at Tenuta di Biserno (Antinori family) in Italy, followed by internships with the Lurton family in Bordeaux and Provins in Valais. For more than 5 years, she has been part of the team at Clos de Tsampéhro, a jewel nestled in the heart of the central Valais region, and for the past year, she has been able to begin realizing her dream with Lionel, to take over the family estate in Tuscany and its 300 or so olive trees, as well as making her own wine. She also teaches at the Burgundy School of Business in Dijon, Changins and César Ritz, and is a certified educator with the prestigious WSET, Wine and Spirits Education Trust. Her ultimate goal: to become one of the 418 Master of Wine, while completing her research into Valais viticulture, which is so close to her heart.
