metIS Hub
Description
Against a backdrop of climate change and increasing spatiotemporal variability in weather phenomena, the metIS® Hub complements the agrometeorological offerings available on the market. Thanks to its modularity (atmospheric, soil and leaf sensors available), ease of installation and low cost, it makes it possible to understand the variability of weather parameters that are essential for making the right decisions in the right place. It is perfectly suited to crop management, as well as to monitoring agronomic experiments.
- At plot level, the Hub metIS® allows weather conditions to be measured within the vegetation rather than at the edge of the plot, without interfering with cultivation operations, and also allows multiple measurement points to be set up depending on the topography and environment.
- On a farm scale, the metIS® Hub is particularly well suited to multiplying the number of measurement points on its various plots rather than just having one measurement point for all the plots.
- At farm level, data from metIS® Hubs scattered over the area of interest can be merged with data from Virtual Weather Stations® to improve spatial representativeness.
