Winter monitoring of downy mildew pressure
Description
The early detection tool using spore traps from BaaS allows for the identification of downy mildew pressure at the start of the season. This data is useful on several levels. It enables the anticipation of the earliness and aggressiveness of the first contamination events during vine budburst. Additionally, this tool allows for the assessment of the impact of various practices, such as cover cropping, soil cultivation, and leaf collection, on the winter stocks of downy mildew spores.
