volcanic, semi-precious or from
different terroirs, we achieve a wide
variety of heat treatment profiles with
elegant toastings.
This process enhances the wine's fruity
characteristics, giving it elegance, while
minimizing the impact of tertiary
aromas and eliminating the presence of
toxins inherent in heat treatment
compared to the traditional heat
treatment using fire.
The meticulous selection of natural
elements such as water and rocks is
skillfully integrated into the heat
treatment process of our PETRA barrels.
This careful combination not only
guarantees an even toasting, but also
extends the life of the barrel, allowing
the wine's fruit to emerge with more
intensity.
The result is a unique sensory
experience, where the elegance of the
oak merges with technical mastery to
minimize the impact of the wood and
of the toasting and roasting, bringing
